Global Design Project 085 | Colour Challenge

Wednesday 3 May 2017

This week's challenge at the Global Design Project is a Colour Challenge! That also means that one person is selected as a Guest Designer for the next Colour Challenge. How great would that be, getting to showcase your work amongst the "fabulousity" of the Global Design Project Team?

This Colour Challenge is bitter sweet because we're choosing three of our favourite colours from the soon to be retired In-Colors but of course Stampin' Up! have another five gorgeous new colours making their debut.  My pick of favourites was easy - Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe.

The Dragonfly Dreams Bundle is a great set - so much versatility and I love that the dragonflies look great any colour you ink them up! I used the Sparkle embossing folder on the strip of Mint Macaron and then attached a smaller strip of Silver Glimmer Paper. I tied in the silver of the Glimmer Paper with Rhinestones and metallic thread.

The lovely little saying is from the Suite Sentiments stamp set.

And of course I finished off the inside! It's automatic to do this now and means I don't have a pile of unfinished cards!

Have a great day and I'll see you Friday with my new weekly blog feature.

  1. A stunning card - inside and out, Angela. The hints of the Silver Glimmer, thread and rhinestones make this a beautiful card for any friend. Thankyou for playing along with this weeks Global Design Project Challenge. We love having you here.
